Ashland County Farms


&

This Ashland County home is located in Montgomery Township on Twp. Rd. 655. It was built in 1839 on some of the richest farmland in the county. The house walls are three bricks thick and the glass in the windows is all handblown. The interior is virgin walnut from the property.

Linda McFarlin, artist of local history, owns Pine Manor and creates her artwork of Ashland County in the studio. Her work centers around the Amish of the area. The McFarlin's are long time residents of Ashland County originating in the Loudonville area. The surname- McFarlin was originally McFarlan and hails from Scotland. Surnames associated are McFarlan, Lozier, and Stizlein
