My grandparents were one of the first families in Ashland County arriving from Jefferson County. I know my great grandfather OLIVER SLOANE and one of his daughters are buried in Bushnell Cemetery but when I search Bushnell Cemetery a town called Bushnell Cemetery comes up. My grandfather Elzy (Ellsey) Sloane was born in Hayesville, Ashland County in 1846 so I am not sure if the change from Richland Co had already taken place.

Searching and have info to share on the Barnard->Clinton Holbrook line in Sullivan, and also the Pixley family in Sullivan, Troy Twp, and Nova.

Just trying to find some family on my dads side since we didn't know any of them i do know one of his uncle name was John Fredrick Cunning he passed away March 5th 1973 i do know John had 2 boys and 2 girls would welcome any help

Some additions to cemetery record for Shriver Cemetery. Mary Shriver Hill wife of Reuben Hill is also buried there. D 2 April 1851. Also her son F. Luther Hill buried there, his headstone very worn hard to read date, but I think it is d. 3 Oct 1856, age 15 y.
Two other Hills Amanda and Ephraim are also buried there and also died in 1851 Mary, Amanda and Ephraim died within two and a half months of each other. Does anyone know if there was an epidemic going through Vermillion at that time?

We are looking for any information on the John Clugh (Samantha D Geary) family, namely their daughter Zada, my grandmother, thought to be born in Ashland County, Nov., 1882. She appears only in the 1900 and 1910 census under her married name of Allred. Would also like to find her (possible) twin sister. Any clues would be more than appreciated. I am interested in finding out more about the Metcalf Family of Ashland, Ohio. My father was named Francis Richard Metcalf born 3.4.26. His father was Irvin (or possibly Rueben)born 1886 and grandfather was Cowan Metcalf, born in 1860.

I have more information on the Soles family going back to Stephen Sowle, moved to Ashland area 1818 from New York, buried in Old Hopewell Churchyard, 1873. Also, John Warren Soles, served in the CW, Co.K 32 Reg. OVI.
