Nardini's was an Ashland family business. It was in Ashland for over 70 years.
It was located at 121 Church Street. Close to the Courthouse and one block from Main street.
They had a lunch counter and a few booths where they served breakfast and for a lite lunch, soup, sandwiches and salad.
There were light lunches, beer, wine, magazines, homemade candy and lottery.
John Nardini and his wife Belle owned Nardini's Confectionary and News Store for 33 years.
John Nardini died in 1965 and his wife's cousin owned the store for 15 years.
Later it was operated by John Nardini's daughter and son-in-law, John died October 2008 and Peggy Nardini Edwards died December 2007 who owned the store.
Nardini's closed Nov 9, 2006.
