Welcome to the Ashland County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society Website!
The Ashland County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society was formed to create and build interest in
preserving and collecting genealogical and historical records relating to the early settlers of Ashland County.
The Ashland County Chapter encourages sharing genealogical finds with other Ashland researchers.

Meetings are held at 6:30 pm, the third Tuesday of each month except December
in the airconditioned lower meeting room of the Ashland Public Library, in Ashland, Ohio.
Family information is shared and many fine guest speakers present topics to help aid in the search for ancestors.
Workshops geared to the beginning researcher are held in January and February. All meetings are open and free to the public.
