The Contents list says it all - lots of research material within the cover of this book. It may help those researchers particularly interested in the 1900-1910 time period as it may help fill in that 1900 census loss. Page 83 gives the following explanation. "This list gives the names of all persons paying taxes on personal property in Ashland County, outside of Ashland, their post office address and the valuation of their personal property in 1906. Townships are arranged alphabetically and sub-divisions are given under the name of the township in which they are situated. The name is first given, then the post office, the number of the Rural Free Delivery Route and lastly the valuation. Abbreviations are given at the heads of their respective lists."
